This is what you're looking for. The entrance to the gallery is in that courtyard and to your left. There is a sign for the gallery on the door and we are on the 4th floor. THE FOURTH! not the second as the studios are split across two floors. THE FOURTH.

Next Saturday is the highlight in the British comics year that is Thought Bubble. If you’re in town for it, maybe you’ve come up or down a day early, then please consider coming to my show, with art and books by Blaise Larmee, Warren Craghead, Craig Atkinson and Malcy Duff. It’s less then an hour on the train from Leeds and then 6 minutes walk from the station.

With cheap beer, cutting edge comics art and books, and back to Leeds again in under an hour, it’s an added comics extra for your excellent comics weekend. Plus all attendees get a free copy of the NOFKO anthology!

Here are some pictures of the gallery. I'd like to keep a certain amount of space between the works so, depending on the size and content of your work, but I reckon on one or two pieces each with a table of books in the middle. with the book, and maybe four pages each, there's scope to show more in that.

This is Magnus standing at the gallery's entrance for scale. it was 10am and he was on his way to the derby, hence the breakfast beer.

it's big enough for everyone to have a table each for their books so you can show as many as you like. i say show as it'll probably act as more of a library than a shop but the optimist in me says we should also have price lists n'all.

Thought this might be worth trying as a way to communicate visually and otherwise with each other, without me taking the lead all the time. I’m curating this show in the loosest sense of the word and I’m well up for input from the rest of you. I was due at an opening at the gallery on Thursday but our kid’s been sick, but as soon as I can I’ll post some images of the space so you’ve got a good idea of what it’s like.

Craig: have you already been? Thoughts.

There’s ages till anyone has to make any decisions about anything but you could think about sharing work on here, see what everyone’s doing, which I think would make a better show. Rather than just installing work before you’ve all seen each other’s.

The blog’s private at the moment. Good idea?

Does anyone want to write anything for the book? Blaisse, I know your Comets Comets blog posts can get people’s backs up, maybe write summat for the book/blog?
